Hi, I'm Glenda,
I live in Barry, South wales.
I had my first guinea pig when I was a small child, Freda was a black and white short hair. After her I didn't have guineas until my children had them as pets, starting with Fudge, and from then on a trickle of others.
It was about10 years ago that I bought from a pet shop a silver aghouti sow who turned out to be pregnant. Well I was hooked. I still love the silvers but have added a whole lot of pure breeds to my collection since.
I now have too many to admit to, including several who have been taken in as unwanted and needy. These are rarely rehomed as I get too attached, and at least I know that they will not become unwanted again.
I also have a few rabbits. My new additions are my Netherland Dwarfs, but I can't see them becoming as big a hit as the guineas.
